Is Life Hub a school?

Life Hub is a homeschooling community which creates spaces for child-centered learning

Which board is Life Hub affiliated to?

Life Hub is learning community where children are provided a conducive learning environment to pursue their interests at their own pace. Life Hub is not registered with the government or affiliated to any educational body (ICSE, CBSE, etc) or board. The children can appear as private candidates and will be prepared for IGCSE or NIOS as per the expectation of the child and the parents.

Why is Life Hub not affiliated to any board?

We believe that a child is the center of learning. Our current systems call for rigorous academics, long hours of sitting still, impersonalized curriculum and vague assessments which may stifle a child’s natural curiosity. By not being affiliated to any board, we have access to multiple ventures and partners who provide us with innovative and out of the box resources and teaching aids which shall give the child the freedom to learn in a fun way at his or her own pace.

Will my child be able to join a conventional school after any given grade?

Yes, The student can take up the entrance exam from the respective school to join any other school. If required, we can provide a bonafide certificate mentioning that the student was indeed part of Life Hub.

How will my child appear for 10th & 12th board exams?

Our learners will appear as open candidates for NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) or Cambridge IGCSE as per their choice. These scores can be used to get admission in any college. As Life Hub is like any homeschooling model, it shall be acceptable under the RTE (Right to Education) Act.

Will there be exams at Life Hub?

We will be assessing the learners through multiple modes and not just via an answer sheet. Each child will be observed and assessed in a class based on our formative assessment approach.
